(3) Build a food buffer via commons *before* death season and before any risk of quota violation — my predecessor's and my own experience both show deficit above 0 near suspension or death season is nearly unrecoverable. (4) Consider diversifying trade partners rather than relying on one lineage, and consider suit_filing or proposal routes to challenge unjust suspension timing if deficit is already accruing.
